Die Gemeinde, mit dem Ortsteil Menzenschwand sowie zahlreichen Schwarzwald-H\u00f6fen, liegt im <a href=\"https:\/\/blafor.com\/guide\/kategorie\/sudschwarzwald\/landkreis-waldshut\/\">Landkreis Waldshut<\/a> und z\u00e4hlt knapp 3900 Einwohner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bei der Anfahrt \u00fcber die Landstra\u00dfe, von <a href=\"https:\/\/blafor.com\/guide\/schluchsee-im-hochschwarzwald\/\">Schluchsee<\/a> (B500) kommend, t\u00e4uscht der erste Eindruck. Die Kuppel ist mit 36 Metern Durchmesser und 62 Metern H\u00f6he die drittgr\u00f6\u00dfte ihrer Art in Europa. Der Dom ist kein Museum, sondern ein Gotteshaus der Kirchengemeinde St. Blasius.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Auf dem Gel\u00e4nde der ehemaligen Benediktinerabtei sind das Studienhaus am Dom sowie ein international bekanntes Internat f\u00fcr M\u00e4dchen und Jungen untergebracht. Der Dom-Park und das Gel\u00e4nde des Klosters sowie der Fluss Alb pr\u00e4gen St. Blasiens eindrucksvolles
